Making homemade s'mores bars involves stacking graham cracker cookie dough, marshmallow creme, and two types of chocolate. Make these instead of sitting by the campfire!
– 1 cup all-purpose flour spooned and leveled (125 grams)– ¾ cup crushed graham cracker crumbs (90 grams)– ½ teaspoon baking powder– ¼ teaspoon salt
Ingredient
– ½ cup unsalted butter softened (115 grams)– ⅔ cup packed light brown sugar (135 grams)– 1 large egg at room temperature– 1 large egg yolk at room temperature
– 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract– 1 (7-ounce) jar marshmallow creme– 3 milk chocolate bars (I used Hershey’s bars)– ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips optional
Direction
Fire up the oven. Prepare an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper or foil and non-stick cooking spray while the oven heats. To avoid marshmallow creme sticking to the pan, this is essential!

Agitate dry goods. Baking powder, salt, flour, and graham cracker crumbs in a large bowl. Combine wet ingredients. Combine butter and brown sugar in another bowl. Egg, yolk, vanilla.
Cookie dough ends. Just combine dry and wet ingredients. Chocolate, marshmallow creme, dough. Press 2/3 of the cookie dough into the pan (the rest will top the bars).

Place quartered Hershey's bars on marshmallow creme. Use remaining cookie dough to cover Hershey's pieces.

My hands press the dough onto the top. Cover dough with chocolate chips. Bake. This bar bakes in 30 minutes. Finish with golden brown tops.
