Ground Turkey Flatbread With Cranberry Chutney Recipe

Something about turkey and cranberry says winter, but roast turkey with sauce isn't the only way to enjoy them. Developer Jessica Morone Tops freshly cooked flatbreads with ground turkey and homemade cranberry sauce.

3 cups all-purpose flour ¾ teaspoon salt 1 ½ teaspoons sugar 3 tablespoons olive oil 1 ¼ cup milk 1 pound ground turkey ½ tablespoon garam masala

¼ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon pepper 2 cups cranberries 2 tablespoons sugar 2 tablespoons white or red wine vinegar 1 cup Greek yogurt

The flour, salt, and sugar should be mixed together in a large basin using a whisk. After adding the olive oil and the milk to the bowl, combine the ingredients until a dough that is shaggy is formed.

Knead the dough until it is completely smooth after transferring it to a clean surface. Make four equal-sized pieces out of the dough and divide them.

Each individual piece of dough should be rolled out into a disk with a thickness ranging from ⅛ inch to ¼ inch. A big skillet should be heated over a medium flame.

After adding one flatbread to the pan, cook it for approximately two to three minutes on each side, or until it reaches a golden brown color. The remaining flatbreads should be repeated, and once they are cooked, they should be transferred to a platter.

Put the ground turkey, garam masala, salt, and pepper into the same skillet that you used to make the flatbreads. As you cook the beef over medium heat, make sure to split it up as you go. Continue cooking until the meat is browned.

The meat should be transferred to a different plate, and the pan should be cleaned. Put the sugar, wine vinegar, and cranberries into the pan and stir to combine.

While stirring frequently, continue to cook the cranberries over medium heat until they have burst. The yogurt should be spread evenly over each of the flatbreads.

In the event that you so wish, you can garnish the flatbreads with roasted turkey, cranberry chutney, and chopped parsley. Serve as soon as possible.
