Easy 5-ingredient Peppermint Fudge Recipe


The Easy 5-Ingredient Peppermint Fudge has two layers of rich, peppermint fudge. The ideal Christmas gift!


SERVINGS: 16 PIECES – 1 and ½ cups (270 grams) semi-sweet chocolate chip – 1 and ½ cups (270 grams) white chocolate chip – 1 14-ounce can (396 grams) sweetened condensed milk , divided – ½ teaspoon peppermint extract (adjust to taste) – ½ cup (70 grams) crushed candy canes (about 5 candy canes)



Set aside an 8-inch square baking pan lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.


Step 1

In a large saucepan, combine semi-sweet chocolate chips and 2/3 cup (198 grams) sweetened condensed milk. 


Step 2

Stir the mixture over medium heat until smooth. Put chocolate fudge in the pan and spread evenly. Chill in the fridge while making the second layer.


Step 3

Put white chocolate chips and 2/3 cup (198 grams) sweetened condensed milk in a large saucepan. Whisk the mixture on medium heat until smooth. 


Step 4

Mix peppermint extract and half the crushed candy canes with white chocolate. Scoop and smooth chilled white chocolate peppermint fudge on chocolate. 


Step 5

Cover fudge with remaining crushed candy canes.Put the baking pan back in the fridge for two hours to set the fudge. Slice and enjoy the fudge after lifting the foil.
