Cream Cheese Pound Cake Recipe

This rich cream cheese pound cake is a treat for yourself. This easy recipe makes a standard cake that you can't say no to!

INGREDIENT

– 8 ounces cream cheese room temperature – 1 ½ cups unsalted butter room temperature – zest of 4 lemon – 3 cups sugar – 6 large egg – 3 cups all-purpose flour – 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract

INSTRUCTION

Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt. Mix butter and cream cheese in a stand mixer with the paddle attachment or a large bowl with a hand mixer until smooth.

Step 1

Finger-mix sugar and lemon zest in a medium bowl until wet and fragrant. Beat the butter on medium speed for 3 minutes until light and creamy after carefully adding the sugar mixture.

Step 2

Each time add two eggs, beat well. Mix all flour at once. Add vanilla and mix. Put in pan. Bake at 325°F for 1 hour 20 minutes. Assess doneness at 1 hour. A toothpick inserted into cake middle comes out clean.
