Bacon Jalapeño Pineapple Cheese Ball Recipe

You should only serve appetizers at events that everyone enjoys. Making an appetizer is always easier when you don't have to spend a lot of time or effort making it.

– 2 tablespoons olive oil – ¼ cup finely chopped white onion – 1 clove garlic, minced – 16 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened – ½ cup cooked crumbled bacon – ⅓ cup drained crushed pineapple – ½ fresh jalapeño, finely chopped – 1 cup finely chopped pecan



Cook olive oil and onion in a skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned.

Cook garlic for 30 seconds until browned. Cool the mixture in a small bowl.

Mix cream cheese, bacon, pineapple, and jalapeño in a large bowl for 2 minutes until well combined.

Add onion and garlic to cream cheese and mix well. Form the cream cheese mixture into a ball after scraping the bowl.

Round the shape with your hands. On top of pecans in a shallow bowl, place the cheese ball.

Roll the cheese ball and press pecans into it with your hands to coat all sides. Reshape as needed.

Wrap the cheese ball tightly in plastic and refrigerate for at least an hour to set. Remove cheese ball from fridge and serve.
